Driving Excellence in Natural Stone – Marmomac 2025

Carrara & Fantastico Arni: Protected Elegance, Without Compromise

Two extraordinary marbles, distinct in character yet united in beauty:

Carrara, timeless icon of purity and elegance, and Fantastico Arni, celebrated for its colorful and refined veining that adds a touch of contemporary sophistication.

Both quarried from the majestic marble basins of the Apuan Alps, they share not only a prestigious origin but also a delicate nature: both are extremely vulnerable to the dreaded “wet effect” when treated with standard resins, leading to halos and darkening along natural fractures that compromise their pure elegance.

To solve this, TENAX presents something never seen before in natural stone:

The first UV epoxy resin with hybrid catalysis. A revolution that redefines resin treatment.

With the installation of a UV oven in the production line, this resin combines UV and epoxy catalysis, ensuring:

  • Zero halos, maximum reinforcement, and perfect penetration into the material.
  • Drastically shorter processing times: slabs can be polished in line within the same working day.
  • Higher efficiency and sustainability: faster cycles cut costs, making even challenging materials economically viable.

At the same time, slabs once destined to become quarry waste gain new life, adding value and reducing environmental impact.

Less waste. More beauty. Maximum innovation. A true game-changer for the future of white marbles.

White Lux Quartzite: Natural Beauty, Protected

Like many clear quartzites, White Lux is sensitive to the “wet effect” when treated with standard resins – especially along its natural fractures – causing unwanted darkening that compromises its delicate appearance.

To tackle these challenges, TENAX has created a true game-changer: INVISIBLE GUARD. More than a product: a concept!

This high-performance primer, applied before the epoxy system, penetrates deep into the stone and provides excellent water repellency. Thanks to this, it protects the material by preventing water from penetrating during processing, while preserving the stone’s natural color – exactly as it was meant to be.

But here’s what really sets it apart: it leaves no halos along natural fractures, a breakthrough that helps raise the quality of the material, saving slabs previously destined to become quarry waste.

That’s not all: this treatment also allows the use of epoxy systems with longer catalyzing times, resulting in stronger reinforcement and deeper adhesion.

Less waste. More beauty. Maximum value!

Taj Mahal Quartzite: Beauty That Demands the Right Technology

Taj Mahal Quartzite is one of the most sought-after materials on the market – renowned for its elegance and natural appeal. But like many stones in its category, it’s prone to rust issues. To prevent this, the material is often treated with acids.

Here’s the challenge: acid treatments don’t play well with traditional epoxy systems. The result? Yellowing, or worse, a loss of mechanical performance.

That’s where TENAX steps in.

After years of research and continuous improvement we are proud to present the new EXCELLENT 3100X.

This innovative epoxy resin has been specifically engineered for acid-treated quartzites, offering exceptional acid resistance, extreme adhesion, and low yellowing.

But its versatility goes even further: 3100X is also an excellent choice for all types of quartzite, making it a go-to solution across a wide range of applications.

And thanks to its easy polishability, it combines high performance with maximum practicality – delivering the perfect balance between strength and usability.

After resin removal, the stone undergoes polishing with a high-performance resinbond sequence specifically developed for quartzites – revealing a flawless surface with an exceptional, mirror-like finish.

Crystal Quartzite: Light, Strength, and Innovation

Crystal Quartzite is a rare natural stone from Brazil, prized for its extraordinary beauty, durability, and timeless elegance. A favorite in high-end architecture, it blends aesthetics with geological wonder.

But what truly sets Crystal Quartzite apart is its natural translucency. In its purest and lightest forms, it can be backlit, allowing light to pass through and creating stunning, ethereal effects – a feature that makes it ideal for dramatic design applications.

There’s a challenge, though.

To reinforce the back of the most fractured slabs, standard fiberglass mats are often used – but these can leave a visible shadow when the stone is backlit, compromising the final look.

That’s why TENAX developed the revolutionary INVISIBLE MAT. Once impregnated with resin, this mat becomes completely invisible – preserving the stone’s visual purity.

And when paired with a top-tier epoxy from the EXCELLENT line, it also ensures minimal yellowing over time.

Strength you don’t see. Beauty you’ll never forget.

Zimbabwe Black: Deep Color, Perfectly Enhanced

Quarried in the African region that shares its name, Zimbabwe Black granite is known for its uniform, homogeneous texture – a favorite in high-end design.

However, in some blocks, natural imperfections may appear: white flakes, black spots, and subtle variations that compromise the material’s premium look.

To meet the industry’s demand for consistent, flawless black, Tenax has developed a complete range of solutions to enhance and unify the color of the stone.

Available in single-, two-, and three-component formulas, these products adapt to the specific tonality you wish to achieve – giving you full control over the final aesthetic.

The result? Zimbabwe Black, exactly as it’s meant to be: deep, rich, and perfectly uniform.
